The “Colors of Asia, Revisited - The Case of ASEAN and Korea” exhibition celebrates the first anniversary of the opening of the ASEAN Culture House (ACH).
Costumes d by Mr. Renee Salud – the Philippines’ ‘fashion ambassador’ and premier houte couture designer – utilizing fabrics from the ASEAN region and Korea, will be displayed and juxtaposed with works d by Korean fashion designer Lee Jean Youn, who reinterprets the beauty and sentiment of Korean traditions with a modern twist. In this exhibition, their creations are depicted as ‘poems’ composed of ‘lights and colors,’ inspiring multied interpretations and sentiments related to the history of costumes and textiles.
The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 11 at 17:00, followed by a designer talk featuring Mr. Salud and Mr. Lee. This event is free admission and is open to the public.
