On January 6th, the ASEAN Cultural House hosted an event to experience Vietnamese food. Under the title “Explore and Taste Viet Nam,” participants were provided with the opportunity to learn about and taste authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The event was under the patronage of Mrs. Tran Thi Lan Hinh, wife of Viet Nam’s Ambassador to Korea. With help from six staff members from the Vietnamese embassy, a variety of Vietnamese dishes were prepared and presented, enabling about 220 participants to learn more about Vietnamese culture by sampling the Vietnamese delicacies. The event also included a cooking class, during which 20 participants learnt to prepare recipes by Mrs. Tran.
